Need real layers?
This converter goes from layers to PNG. Going the other way — from one flat image to separate, named layers — needs AI layer splitting.

Needs an account and credits. Failed runs are refunded.
How it works
Files are read and converted one after another inside your browser tab, so a big batch never has to leave your computer.
Drop up to 20 .psd or .psb files on the box, choose them, or paste one. Each can be up to 300 MB.
By default you get one flattened PNG per file. Tick “Export every layer as PNG too” to get a ZIP per file with the flattened PNG plus one PNG per layer.
Save each result as it finishes, or everything in one ZIP. Layer files are numbered bottom to top so they stay in stack order.
Why use it
Useful for web and app assets, animation and parallax work, or simply getting a PNG out of a PSD when Photoshop is not installed.
The PNG is the composite Photoshop saved in the file, so effects and adjustment layers look as they did in Photoshop. Files saved without one are rebuilt from their layers.
Export all layers as transparent PNGs named after the layer, at full canvas size so they line up when stacked, or trimmed to their pixels.
Queue up to 20 PSDs. They are converted one at a time so your browser does not run out of memory, and each can be downloaded as soon as it is done.
Conversion happens on your device, so client files and unreleased artwork never leave it.
FAQ
Drop the PSD on the converter above. Your browser reads the file and gives you a PNG of the flattened image, with no Photoshop or account needed.
No. Everything happens in your browser; the files never leave your device.
Yes. Tick “Export every layer as PNG too”. Each PSD then gives you a ZIP with the flattened PNG and one transparent PNG per layer, named after the layer and numbered bottom to top. Changing the option re-converts the files already in the list.
No. A layer PNG holds the layer’s own pixels with its mask, clipping and opacity applied, but not effects such as drop shadows or strokes. The flattened PNG includes them when the file has a saved composite.
Up to 20 files per batch and 300 MB per file. Documents larger than about 100 megapixels, and 32-bit, CMYK or Lab files, cannot be converted in the browser.
Yes. PSB, Photoshop’s Large Document Format, converts the same way as a PSD, layers included. The browser limits still apply: up to 300 MB per file and about 100 megapixels (30,000 px per side).
Yes. Transparent areas of the document stay transparent in the PNG. If the document has an opaque background layer, the PNG is opaque too.
Yes, with no account, no credits and no watermark. It never calls an AI model; the AI layer splitter on this site is a separate, paid tool.
From a flat PNG to separate layers: the AI layer splitter names each layer and exports a PSD or a PNG ZIP.
