Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Images2Layers ("we", "us"). They govern your use of images2layers.com and the tools on it (the "Service"). By creating an account, buying credits or using the Service, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you accept these terms for it and confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must accept these terms for you and make any purchase.

3. What the Service does

Images2Layers offers:

• AI layer splitting. HD (Seedream 5.0 Pro Layerize) and Standard (Qwen Image Layered) split an image into separate transparent layers that you can preview and download as PNG files, a PNG ZIP or a layered PSD.
• AI image tools. An object eraser, an AI photo editor and an AI PSD generator, each producing one image per run.
• Free browser tools. PNG to PSD, PSD viewer and PSD to PNG, which run entirely in your browser and need no account.

The AI tools run third-party models through our processing provider, and results depend on the image. Text comes out as pixels on its own layer, not as editable type, and glass, smoke, fine hair and heavily overlapping elements are often split imperfectly. Layer counts, output sizes and run times described on the site are typical values, not guarantees.

We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will tell account holders in advance by email where we reasonably can.

4. Your account

Keep your login details secret — you are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us promptly at support@images2layers.com if you suspect someone else is using it. Don't create accounts to get around limits, charges or a suspension.

5. Credits, plans and payment

• Credits. AI runs are paid for with credits, and each tool shows its price before you start. HD charges per layer the model returns: we hold the maximum when the run starts and return the unused part when it finishes. Standard and the image tools charge a flat amount per run. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, sold or exchanged for money.
• Plans. Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) add credits for each billing period — a yearly plan adds the whole year's credits up front — and those credits expire when the period ends. One-time credit packs expire 365 days after purchase. Current prices and credit amounts are on the pricing page.
• Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and your credits stay usable until then.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. The price and currency are shown at checkout, and taxes may be added where the law requires. If we change the price of a subscription, the new price applies from your next billing period after we have told you, and you can cancel before then.
• Failed runs and refunds. If a run fails, the credits it held are returned automatically. All other refunds are covered by our refund policy.

6. Your content

"Your content" means the images and text you submit and the results produced for you.

• You keep whatever rights you have in your content. We claim no ownership of it.
• You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process and transmit your content — including sending it to the providers named in the privacy policy — only as needed to run the Service for you, keep it secure and comply with the law.
• We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't display it publicly.
• Results carry no watermark. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial work, provided you have the rights to the image you started from.
• AI results are not unique: similar inputs can produce similar results for other people, and some countries don't grant copyright in machine-generated material. We don't promise that a result can be protected, or that it is free of third-party rights carried over from your input.

7. Acceptable use

Only upload images you own or are allowed to edit. You must not use the Service to:

• create, upload or share anything illegal — including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
• create sexual or intimate imagery of a real person without their consent, or harass, threaten or defame anyone;
• impersonate a person or an organisation, or create deceptive images of real people intended to mislead;
• infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights — for example, removing a watermark or credit from an image you have no licence to use;
• attack, probe or overload the Service, scrape it, automate it beyond normal use, or get around credit charges, limits or suspensions;
• resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If an account is closed for a serious breach, its unused credits are forfeited unless the law says otherwise.

8. Free browser tools

The PNG to PSD, PSD viewer and PSD to PNG tools process files on your own device. They are provided free of charge and as they are, and because your files never reach us, we can't see or recover them.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — its software, design, text and the example images we created — belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you no rights in it beyond using the Service as intended.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will meet your needs.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you submitted or your breach of these terms, you will cover the reasonable losses and costs that result, to the extent the law allows.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@images2layers.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Sections 6, 10, 11, 12 and 15 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated terms apply; if you don't agree with them, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Images2Layers is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring proceedings in its courts.
